Accessibility statement

Lonsher LTD treats its website as a working tool rather than a shop window. A site that is not usable by everyone does not do its job.

The company's commitment

  • Lonsher LTD works to make its website usable by people with disabilities, on the understanding that the site is a working tool: it is where procurement requirements are submitted, order status is checked and contact is made. A site that is not accessible prevents some people from doing any of that.
  • The site has been built to Israeli Standard 5568, which adopts the WCAG 2.0 guidelines at conformance level AA, and to the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Accessibility Adjustments to Services) Regulations, 2013.

What has been implemented

  • Full semantic structure: hierarchical headings, marked navigation regions and an identified main content area, so a screen reader can move through the site by structure rather than by reading order alone.
  • Complete keyboard navigation across every page, including the forms, with a visible focus indicator on every focusable element.
  • Contrast ratios meeting level AA for all text and interface components.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images, with decorative images marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Explicit labels on every form field, and required fields marked in a way that does not rely on colour alone.
  • The reduced-motion system preference is honoured, so animation does not run for anyone who has asked their operating system to suppress it.
  • An on-site accessibility menu offering larger text, high contrast, greyscale, link highlighting and animation control. The setting persists between pages.

Known limitations

  • The accessibility menu is an aid only. The substantive accessibility work is in the structure of the site itself, not in the button.
  • The client portal runs at a separate address on a separate system, and this statement does not cover it.
  • Some embedded or external content may fall outside the company's control. If you encounter such content that is not accessible, we would like to hear about it.

Reporting an issue

  • If you have had difficulty using the site, or have a suggestion, please contact us and we will address it.
  • It helps if you can describe the problem briefly, give the address of the page where you met it, and say which assistive technology you are using, if relevant. We aim to reply within one business day.
