You shouldn't be placing ten orders
to build one thing.
Send the whole list — the easy lines and the ones nobody can find. One list in; one shipment, one invoice, and one number to call to ask where it is. And if something is held at customs, delayed in transit or lost at the supplier, that is no longer your problem. It is all priced in up front.
99 seconds on how it works.
From the moment the date is set until the line moves again. English narration and subtitles.
The whole list. Especially the ordinary lines.
Most of what we buy is entirely ordinary. That is the point: somebody has to open the vendor, raise the purchase order, pay in a foreign currency, clear customs and chase the parcel — and there is no reason it should be your engineer.
The ordinary lines are the job
A part sitting in stock at a known distributor is bought from there, for you, and arrives on the same delivery note as everything else. One order instead of ten. One shipment through one customs entry. One invoice. One delivery date we are accountable for, instead of ten set by whichever vendor is slowest.
And the lines nobody can close do not come back to you
End-of-life, on allocation, an MOQ of 3,000 when you need 40, single-source, a supplier in China who does not answer in English, a part that needs a COC. This is the part of the work we are unusually good at — and it is exactly why the whole list is safe to hand over, not just the easy half.
The right comparison is not our price against a catalogue price on one line. It is the whole list, done, against the afternoon you would spend on it. Count the purchase orders you raised last month.
You define it. We deliver it. The risk sits with us.
We do not merely place the order on your behalf. We take on the accountability and the risk that come with it.
One price, final
The price you approve covers everything: goods, freight, duty, fees, insurance and handling. Movements in freight, exchange rate or duty are priced and managed up front — so no further invoice arrives at the end.
The risk transfers to us
A shipment held at customs, a supplier who backs out, a permit that arrives late, cargo that is damaged. These are failures we absorb and resolve — they are not passed back to you.
Full visibility, none of the work
You see everything in the portal — status per line, dates, documents and payments — and the decisions stay with you. What passes to us is the work, not the control.
One person, for everything
Not a call centre and not a ticketing system. You do not deal with the warehouse, pricing, orders and accounts separately — one person knows your file, is directly reachable, and handles all of it: quote, delivery, invoice, stock.
Behind every quotation there is a system — not just a team.
Scan
Every line that comes in is scanned automatically against distributors and a database of 4,500+ suppliers and 3,700+ brands — before a person touches it. What the system does not resolve goes to the team.
Landed cost
A full landed cost — price, freight, duty, VAT, exchange rate — is computed per line and checked against a purchase history of ~19,000 lines since 2023, before the quotation goes out.
Suppliers and risk
For every line a lead and a backup supplier are chosen, and delivery risks — prepayment, first purchase, long lead time — are flagged. The system records, per line, whether the supplier delivered early or late.
Portal
Status per part number across six stages, quote approval, documents and payments in one place — connected directly to the pricing and tracking system.
AI and automation are built into the process itself — from intake of the requirement to the sending of the quotation. The platform keeps developing: price and availability alerts, audit-ready BOM export, three quantities on every quotation.
One price. One word.
One price per item
The price on the quotation is the final price for that item, freight, customs, duties, insurance and handling included. There are no further lines on the invoice.
Payment before purchase
Lonsher buys from the manufacturer with its own funds against payment in advance, and does not work on credit terms. That is precisely why the price is fixed before the order and does not move afterwards.
A lead time per item
Alongside the price sits a schedule for each part number separately, rather than one estimate for the whole order. What can be known up front is stated up front.
Procurement is not most companies' core business. At Lonsher it is the only one.
Every build turns into a pile of separate orders: ten vendors, ten purchase orders, several currencies, ten shipments, ten customs events, ten invoices — and a delivery date set by whichever vendor is slowest.
Engineer or buyer — both lack the infrastructure
In a company with no buyer, procurement falls on an engineer and is taken from their core work. And in a company with a purchasing function, the buyer knows what to buy — but has no system scanning thousands of suppliers, no open accounts with the manufacturers, no ~19,000-line price history. The strategy stays with you; the transactions sit with us.
Low priority with the manufacturer
A young company placing a modest order is not a priority for an international manufacturer. Lonsher is an established account with those manufacturers, which is reflected in response times and commercial terms.
Delays in the supply chain
Customs, standards, licensing, hazardous materials and communications equipment — any one of these can delay a shipment by weeks. These are processes the company manages daily.
After the first order, this is what you see
Every requirement opens as a file in the system. Below is the portal itself, live on demonstration data — approve a quote, follow each item's status separately and see where payments stand. No sign-up.
The operations line
Some situations do not resolve themselves within office hours.
- A critical component needed by tomorrow morning, and it is two in the morning now.
- An export shipment held at Ben Gurion and going no further.
- A missing permit or document, and the cargo will not clear.
Lonsher's operations line can be called at any hour. The service is priced separately and it is expensive — it is not intended for routine work — but it exists precisely for these moments. Instead of starting to look for a solution alone, there is someone to call.
From the requirement to the handover, all of it here
Lonsher is neither an agent nor a broker. The company manages the chain in full and carries accountability for the outcome.
Procurement of the whole list
One order for the whole list — the ordinary lines and the hard ones together. Sourcing worldwide, order management and tracking through to delivery, including parts that are end-of-life, on allocation or MOQ-locked.
Landed-cost pricing
Several sources approached in parallel for every line, and one final price per item that already includes freight, duty and lead time. The price is checked against a purchase history of ~19,000 lines before the quotation goes out.
Import, freight and customs
Air or sea freight according to urgency and budget, customs brokerage, import file preparation, certificates of origin and logistics coordination to the destination.
A multi-disciplinary operation
The company does not specialise in a single category. Procurement spans dozens of fields, each with a team that knows the market, the manufacturers and the regulatory requirements.
Drones and aerial
Batteries, flight controllers, ESCs, telemetry and communications gear, complete platforms, navigation and control systems.
Electronics, components and RF
Power supplies, specialty components, boards, sensors, RF and communications parts, and integrated assemblies.
Laboratory and scientific instruments
Precision measurement, analytical instruments, test systems, laboratory equipment and consumables.
Additive manufacturing
Printers, raw materials, spares and servicing, including the leading brands on the market.
Materials and adhesives
Industrial adhesives, process and cleaning chemicals, and hazardous materials under the appropriate import permits.
Optics and imaging
Specialty cameras, lenses, rangefinding sensors, displays and supporting equipment.
Tools and production
Electronic production equipment, soldering and rework stations, hand tools and inspection equipment.
Power and batteries
Storage systems, lithium cells and packs, chargers and power supplies, including dangerous-goods shipping.
Motion and actuation
DC and BLDC motors, servos, linear actuators, pumps, cylinders, bearings and drive assemblies.
Field and protective equipment
Ruggedised equipment for field conditions, personal protective gear, sealed enclosures and related standards-compliant items.
Alongside these: laboratory furniture, peripherals, off-the-shelf products and items that resist classification. As a rule, if a product is sold somewhere in the world, it can be obtained. Ordinary catalogue lines — Digi-Key, Mouser, RS — belong on the same order. There is no need to split the easy items from the hard ones: send the list as it stands.
3,700 brands recorded in our system
Below is a sample from the list of brands the company has already purchased from, including working history, named contacts and agreed commercial terms. A brand's absence from the list does not indicate a lack of access to it.
Categories covered
Case study: when the timeline is not negotiable
The bulk of activity runs as orderly routine. The case below illustrates the company's response capability at the extreme.
30 ruggedised tablets. No units in Israel. 96 hours.
- A supplier holding stock in Romania was located, roughly five hours' drive from Bucharest.
- Within four hours of receiving the requirement, a company representative was on a flight to Bucharest.
- A local driver arranged in advance met him at the airport and drove him to the supplier.
- The equipment was inspected on site, purchased and packed into suitcases.
- Payment was made through a Lonsher trust account, giving the supplier full certainty of funds.
- The representative returned on the next flight — under twenty hours in-country.
- Within four days of the order, the equipment was operational in Israel.
A requirement comes in. A product goes out.
Everything in between — sourcing, pricing, import, customs, inspection, documentation and delivery — is managed here. Send your next build's list — all of it. A few stuck lines or a single part number work too.
